2026.04.17 - P4.1 Product Release

This release brings a major new feature for managing your client businesses, a round of meaningful improvements to the billing workflow, and a collection of fixes and performance improvements across the platform. Whether you're running a billing cycle, working in the yards, or just keeping your client list tidy, there's something useful here for you.

AgentNous

Business Labels
You can now create your own custom labels and apply them to businesses for your Agency or Saleyard. This is a brand new way to organise and find your clients using categories that make sense for your operation — whether that's by region, stock type, client tier, or anything else you choose.

  • Create and manage your labels from the Settings page — add, rename, or remove them at any time.
  • Apply labels to individual businesses directly from the business edit screen or from the businesses grid.
  • Bulk update multiple businesses at once — tag or remove labels across your whole list in one go, instead of opening each business one by one.

  What this means for you:
  • Organise your client list in a way that fits how your agency actually works.
  • Bulk labelling saves significant time when setting things up or making changes across a large client base.
  • Filter your business list using your own labels — coming in future updates.
Vendor Commission Rates Fix
Fixed a bug where clearing all custom commission rates from a vendor's business record wasn't saving correctly. Commission settings will now update reliably when you remove a rate band.

AgentNous/YardNous Billing

A big round of billing improvements in this release — from cleaner screens to faster performance.

Billing Document Attachments — Auto-Selected
When opening the send email dialog for a billing document, your attachments will now be pre-selected automatically, as expected. No more needing to manually tick them before sending.

Auto-Attach RFID Reports
A new agency-level setting lets you automatically include the RFID CSV report as an attachment whenever a billing document is sent. If your team routinely sends this data with invoices, this removes a manual step every single time.

Billing Review — Less Red, More Signal
The billing review screen used to highlight rows in red for any kind of change — including cosmetic ones like name updates. Now, red highlighting is reserved for financial changes only. Cosmetic changes still trigger a review prompt, but without the alarming colour treatment.

  What this means for you:
  • Much cleaner, calmer billing review screens.
  • Financial changes still stand out clearly where they matter.
  • Fewer false alarms to chase down before approving a run.
Interest Sundry Date Fix
A rounding bug was causing the date range shown on interest sundry line items to display incorrectly. The calculation itself was always right — the description text now matches.

Commission Relationships Report — One Click Away
Added a direct shortcut to the Commission Relationships report from the billing run actions menu. What used to take five steps (billing run → reports → generate → select sale → run) is now a single click.

Ledger Table — More Detail at a Glance
The ledger entry detail in step 1 of billing now includes billing run summary columns — giving you useful context like billing role, invoice number, and totals without having to navigate away.

Date Sorting Fixed in Money Table
The Sales Date column in the money table now sorts correctly when a billing document covers multiple sales — it uses the first sale date as the sort key.

Billing Performance Improvement
Billing document totals are now stored directly on the record rather than being recalculated from scratch every time. This resolves a notable performance bottleneck that was causing slow load times on larger billing runs.

Billing Settings — Stability Fix
Fixed a crash in the billing settings admin screen that was triggered by certain businesses with trading terms configured in a particular way. The settings page now loads reliably for all businesses.

Xero Integration Improvements
  • Archived contacts hidden: The Xero business mapping screen now shows only active contacts. Archived businesses are filtered out, reducing the chance of accidentally linking to the wrong one.
  • Banking details unlocked: Fixed a bug where banking details were being locked for all deployment businesses if even one of them had bank account details stored in Xero. Your banking details can now be managed independently.
  • Commission Relationships timeout fix: Resolved a database timeout that was occurring for some agencies when loading the Commission Relationships report.

YardNous

Dini (brand) Weighbridge Now Supported
AgriNous now supports the Dini Argeo 3590ET and 3590EGT weighbridge models. If your saleyard runs this equipment, you can now connect it directly to the platform.

Average Kg in Drovers Report
The Drovers Report now includes an Average Kg column. Your team gets clearer weight data at a glance — useful for reconciling lots on the day.

Vendor Details Export — Weigh Date Column Fixed
Fixed a display issue in the Vendor Details Export report where the weigh date column was incorrectly showing a round number when there were no sale, skin, or deceased lots in the line.

AgriNous Platform

Multiple Tabs Warning
If you open AgriNous in more than one browser tab at the same time, you'll now see a friendly heads-up. Having multiple tabs active can occasionally cause unexpected behaviour — this warning helps you stay aware and avoid issues during busy periods.

What this means for you:

  • Fewer "why is my data not updating?" moments.

  • You can dismiss the warning and continue if needed — it's advisory, not a block.

Security & Stability Updates

  • Applied the latest high and critical security patches to the AgriNous frontend.
  • Fixed a crash affecting some iOS users on the sale dashboard.
  • Fixed an issue where the Analytics section was inaccessible for certain users due to an authentication configuration difference.

This release is particularly valuable for agencies managing complex billing workflows and anyone wanting more control over how their business list is organised. The Business Labels feature lays the groundwork for even more powerful filtering and automation to come. Thanks for your ongoing feedback — it drives every item on this list.
