Mobile Sale Creation โ€” Major Update ๐Ÿš€

The mobile sale creation experience has received a major overhaul for paddock and hooks-style sales. We've streamlined workflows to match the fast, practical pace of an Agent's work.

  • Create multiple lots in one session ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‚ You can now build multiple lots in a single mobile creation flow. The new step-by-step wizard walks you through When (date and time), Who (vendor and buyer), What (add as many lots as you need), and then a final Review summary before saving.
  • Lots are now simply called "Lots" โœ๏ธ We've updated "Sale lot" to just "Lot" across the mobile creation interfaceโ€”keeping language simple and clean.
  • Auto-select consignment when there's only one ๐ŸŽฏ When creating a lot on mobile, if the sale only features a single consignment, the system will pre-select it for you automatically. If there are multiple, you'll still choose manually.
  • Animal details visible alongside Price when editing Lots ๐Ÿ‘€ When editing a lot, key animal details (species, breed, count) now show clearly alongside Price details, so you can double-check exactly what you're pricing.
  • Comments added to hooks and paddock lot forms ๐Ÿ“ You can now jot down comments directly into your mobile forms for hooks and paddock sales, matching the tools available in desktop lot screens.
  • Review tab redesigned for clarity ๐Ÿ“‹ The new mobile review screen is easy to read. Sale-level and lot-level details are separated perfectly so you can verify the details in a glance before hitting save.
  • Smart default pricing types โš™๏ธ To shave off extra clicks, hooks sales will automatically default to c/kg pricing, and paddock sales will default to $/head.

More updates

  • Livestock agents can edit sale names in shared sales โœ๏ธ For sales that span multiple different agencies, livestock agents were previously locked out of editing the sale name. We've fixed thisโ€”agents can now update shared sale names directly on the fly.
  • Sale type now visible in vendor commission dropdowns ๐Ÿ” When setting up vendor commissions, the sale type now appears right alongside the sub-type in the dropdown menu, making it much easier to pick the correct option at a glance.

What this means for you:

  • Create an entire sale (including multiple lots) in one guided flow, with fewer back-and-forth screens.
  • If youโ€™re working across agencies, you can now update the sale name directly from mobile when things change.
  • Seeing the sale type in the vendor commission dropdown makes it quicker to select the correct commission option.

๐Ÿ’ผ AgentNous / Billing

This release brings several important Xero fixes and billing improvements to keep your financial records accurate and your administrative workflows smooth.

  • Xero credits now synced ๐Ÿ“‘ Credit notes issued in Xero are now synced straight back into AgriNous, bringing both systems into perfect alignment. This is the first major step in our broader effort to ensure your Xero and AgriNous statements always match down to the cent.
  • Tax amounts corrected for certain invoices ๐Ÿ’ฐ We caught and fixed a bug where the incorrect tax amount was being pushed to Xero for BAS-exclusive invoices. Your figures will now be 100% accurate on both sides of the fence.
  • Xero contact updates are now faster โšก Updating a Xero contact is now smarter and lightning-fast.
  • Flexible RCTI grouping by PIC, NVD, or Kill Sheet ๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ You can now group Recipient Created Tax Invoices (RCTIs) by PIC, NVD, or Kill Sheet IDโ€”even if there is only a single PIC on an invoice. This gives you much better control over how your paperwork is presented to clients.
  • Billing grid-view reset now works correctly ๐Ÿ”„ The "reset view" button in our billing grids has been fixed across the entire billing workflow.
  • Agency details added to sale exports ๐Ÿ“Š Your sale export files now include the agency code, agent reference, saleyard reference, and channel. This makes your exported data much richer and far more useful for bulk billing and quick reconciliation.

What this means for you:

  • Credit notes from Xero flow seamlessly into AgriNous statements for simpler tracking.
  • Tax figures in Xero are accurate for BAS-exclusive invoices, keeping compliance easy.
  • RCTI documents can be customised and grouped for cleaner client billing.
  • System syncs with Xero are targeted, saving you valuable desk time.

NLIS & EID Improvements

  • Arrival PIC now stored and displayed ๐Ÿ“ The arrival PIC (Property Identification Code) is now safely captured and stored as a permanent, read-only record the moment the current PIC is set against a lot, giving you a reliable paper trail of where stock originated.
  • Re-scan locked out after NLIS transfer ๐Ÿ”’ To protect your data, the "Re-scan" button on the edit sale lot screen is now automatically disabled once EIDs have been successfully transferred to the NLIS. This completely prevents accidental clearing of transferred tag data.
  • Save your own view on NLIS tables ๐Ÿ’พ Saleyard support staff can now save their own custom views on NLIS tables, including personalised column arrangements and sort orders, making it quicker to find exactly what you need during high-pressure sale windows.
  • XML imports now accept Y/N NLIS status values ๐Ÿ“„ NLIS status fields in XML sale imports now happily accept simple "Y" and "N" values (including lowercase variants). This resolves previous import errors that were causing headaches for some clients.
  • EID reader lookup stability ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ We've fixed an issue where the system would get stuck in a loop retrying NLIS lookups for EID readers not registered in the database. Device management is now much smoother and won't cause unnecessary NLIS data traffic.

New Scanner Support

  • New session import for TruTest XRS2i scanners ๐Ÿ“ก you can now import sessions directly from the TruTest XRS2i, giving you more ways to capture your EID data.

More updates

  • Updating the consigning Agency on a Consigment now flows through correctly ๐Ÿ”„ When you update the consigning agency on a consignment, that change now automatically trickles down to all connected lots. This keeps your buyer, vendor, and third-party relationships perfectly consistent without requiring any manual clean-up afterward.
  • Signatures now appear in emailed reports โœ๏ธ Reports sent out via email will now correctly display agent signatures. Previously, signatures would show up when viewing a report directly on screen but would drop off when emailed. They'll now come through clear as day every time.

What this means for you:

  • Set up multiple lots on your phone in one goโ€”no more tedious re-entry of the same sale details.
  • Critical NLIS workflows are safer, preventing accidental data overwrites after a transfer.
  • Smart default pricing cuts out unnecessary taps for hooks and paddock sales.
  • Expanded hardware support allows you to plug in and use the TruTest XRP2i seamlessly.

โš™๏ธ AgriNous Platform

  • ABN lookups optimised ๐Ÿ” We patched an issue where clearing an ABN field wouldn't properly trigger a fresh database re-query. ABN lookups will now fire off automatically exactly when expected whenever a record is being corrected.
  • IOS white screen fixed when switching roles in a sale On IOS in the buyer portal, certain users were encountering a blank white screen when trying to switch over to a business user role within a sale. This has been resolved, and role switching is now completely stable.

What this means for you:

  • Vendor and buyer onboarding remains smooth with reliable ABN verification lookups.
  • The buyer portal experience is stable and free of unexpected screen freezes.

This release delivers our biggest impacts directly onto the dirt for saleyard staff managing busy sale days on mobile, as well as office administrators looking after Xero-integrated billing.
