We want your AgriNous experience to be smooth sailing, so here are some easy tips to keep your mobile devices in top shape:
- Keep Everything Updated
- Your Phone/Tablet's Brain (OS): Make sure your Android or Apple device is always updated. This fixes bugs and keeps things running securely. Set it to update automatically if you can!
- Chrome Browser: If you use AgriNous in Chrome, keep that updated too. It usually happens by itself, but you can check in your app store.
- Heads up: Samsung tablets usually don't make Chrome the default browser. We recommend changing it from the Samsung browser for the best experience. In Android, navigate to Settings > Apps > Default apps > Browser app, then select Chrome.
- AgriNous Hub App (Android): This is key for connecting to your scanners and printers. Keep it updated via the Google Play Store.
- AgriNous App (iOS): Apple users, grab the official AgriNous app from the App Store and keep it updated for the best experience.
- Log Out: When you're done with AgriNous, remember to log out, especially if it's a shared device. Just hit your initials in the top right to find the "Logout" button. (Everything is audit-tracked, so it's always good to be logged in as yourself.) This is a bit like the modern-day “turning it off and on”.
- Clear Your Browser's Gunk (Cache): If AgriNous is acting weird in your browser (not loading right, looking funny), clearing the "cache" often fixes it.
- Open Chrome, tap the three dots, go to History, then "Clear browsing data..."
- Pick "All time" and make sure "Cached images and files" is checked. Hit "Clear data."
- Then restart Chrome and try again!
- Watch for AgriNous Updates: Keep an eye on our release notes and apply AgriNous updates when you see that green message in the top right corner.
- Handy Hint: If you have multiple profiles, double-check the role switcher by tapping on your initials.
- Watch for Pending Changes: If you lose internet connection, pending changes might get stuck. If you notice this, let us know ASAP, as it might not be internet-related and could cause a log jam. These can be seen in the top right, where the green online indicator usually sits.
