Connected Businesses

A Connected Business is a Business that already exists in AgriNous as the shared, definitive record of a real-world Business.

Connecting gives you instant access to data already in AgriNous and makes workflows and communications quicker, so you don’t re-key what’s already known.

Before you start

  • Your organisation needs the Global Business Search feature. If Add Connected Business isn’t in the actions menu, contact support.
  • Only businesses that have been made searchable appear in the search.

Steps

  1. On the Businesses screen, open the actions menu.
  2. Select Add Connected Business.
  3. In Search for a Business, enter a name, PIC, email or ABN.
  4. Select the business from the results.
  5. Select Add.

Result: The Business is added to your list. You can keep updating its information as you do for any other Business.

Adding it again restores and reactivates your existing record

Can it replace a temporary business?

Yes. On the Temporary Businesses screen, a Connected Business match with Use adds it and merges the Temporary Business into it.

Troubleshooting

If you can’t find the business, it may not have been made a Connected Business yet. You’ll need to Create a new Business instead.
