Connecting Your Tru-Test XRS2 Scanning Wand to Agrinous
This guide shows you how to connect your Tru-Test XRS2 Bluetooth scanning wand to the Agrinous iOS app.
Using an iPhone (tested on iPhone 12 or newer), go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings and connect to your XRS2 Wand.
When a pop-up appears asking to open the DataLink app, accept it. Once DataLink opens, close the app completely — it’s not needed for Agrinous.
Check your wand settings:

Bluetooth → Advanced → Connect Mode: Default

Bluetooth → Advanced → Output Mode: Default

Tag Reading → Tag Format: ISO
Next, open the Agrinous iOS app and connect to your wand as you normally would when scanning.

Tags will only come across into Agrinous if your wand’s Tag Format is set to ISO mode (not decimal).
If tags are not appearing in Agrinous, double-check your Tag Format is set to ISO and reconnect your wand through Bluetooth before reopening Agrinous.
