How to view an EID's full report

Sometimes you need more than this sale's record of a tag - a lifetime traceability question, an NLIS rejection, or a dispute over where an animal actually came from usually means looking at every sale and every NLIS transaction that tag has ever been part of. The EID Report is that full history, in one place.

Steps

  1. In a Sale, select the EIDs tab.
  2. Select the pencil icon on the row for the tag you want to check.
  3. On the EID's card, select EID Report.

What you'll see

  • Scan Events - every sale, saleyard, and agency this EID has been scanned at that you have access to, with buyer, vendor, lot, pen, and weight available if you select a row to expand it, plus its Take, Sell, and P2P status at the time, and whether NLIS has a sighting recorded.
  • NLIS Events - every Take, Sell, or P2P transfer file this EID has appeared in that you have access to, with file status, transaction ID, who submitted it, and any error notes.

If a scan event happened somewhere you're not authorised to see the detail of, it still appears in the list, but shown as a muted row without the detail - this confirms the tag was seen there without exposing another party's sale information.
