What Legacy Business Data is

Legacy Business Data is a set of business records imported from a CSV — names, ABNs, addresses, contacts, PICs, banking details, and (for livestock agents) commission and agent relationship details. It is not a transaction, invoice, or balance import - nothing here touches billing, ledgers, or statements. Think of it as a richer address book you can draw from, not a financial migration.

The three stages

1. Upload - One or more Legacy Business Data CSVs is uploaded, becoming a searchable pool of Business data records. Currently AgriNous staff-only.
2. Apply - when creating or editing a Business, you can search this pool for a matching record and choose which fields to bring across to your Business in AgriNous. Nothing changes on the Business until you do this and save.
3. Manage - over time, records can be ignore (if they're bad or duplicate) or restored, and whole uploaded batches can be deleted.

Who does what

• Uploading a CSV is currently AgriNous staff-only.
• Applying suggestions to a Business is available to anyone with a Legacy Business Data CSV uploaded - the fields you see differ slightly depending on your role (livestock agents also see commission and agent-relationship fields; saleyard admins don't).
• Managing records (ignoring, restoring) is available to anyone; deleting an entire uploaded batch is staff-only.
